A Day Dreaming

Dear Followers,

After a two week blogging moratorium for AP testing, I am back and ready to blog. These past two weeks have been monumental. From cashing in my Culver's coupons and acquiring a pink "Sprinkles Rock" shirt to being exposed to the master GIF (published 5/16 by JZ), never before have I experienced so much without expounding on my thoughts. This lack of investigating my thoughts is probably to blame for my high levels of "chep" recently, a convenient way for anyone to release negative energy (DELISHMAM).

I guess I should go backwards so I can rant about whatever is on my mind right now. Screw that, I am going to jump around all over the place. Firstly, Medina McDonald's has some of the friendliest staff in the world. Not only was I able to consume two cheeseburgers with a meager 2 dollars, but, with Oliver's quick hands during a Y.E.S. carnival, I was able to exchange a piece of wood for a sundae. A McDonald's sundae punks. Sweet vanilla layers (DELISHMAM) fresh from a soft serve rectum covered in steamy, hot fudge and sprinkled generously with nuts. Oh, and I am a fail bowler.

You know what makes me mad? When Jack Garvey goes and orders tennis sweatshirts for everybody by emailing the order forms to our parents. I would have had to break into his house and jack somebody else's sweatshirt if he didn't put in a second order.

In anime news, I only got around to watching "Ano Hana" and "Gosick" over these past few weeks. Nothing much to comment on here, except Yukiatsu's cosplay was well done. I should buy a one-piece with a blue ribbon as well.

On Monday, while in the sanctuary of my bathroom, I came across "Air Gear" on my iPhone and began reading the manga. High levels of fanservice, overused character expressions, and a dry romance keep me coming back for more. No but really, this manga is over the top in more ways than one. I am just a sucker for teamwork in manga,. When I see a bunch of underdogs kick some professional ass in a cheesy manner, I want to yell out "F@#$ YEAH SEAKING!" My only problem with "Air Gear" as a manga are the limitations of the medium. "Air Gear" is so dependent on movement to sell each scene. Paper only seems to keep the action in a cage. Too bad the anime is a poor rendition of the manga, fully exploiting the reality that sex sells.

Oh yeah, Prom was this weekend as well. But I will save my analysis of Prom for another date. Looks like I wasn't very ready to blog after all. "Hayate no Gotoku!" calls.

Forest Walker,
Noel

you might want to watch "Hanasaku Iroha". It has a similar vibe to "Ano Hana", and some kick ass animation.

I watched Hanasaku Iroha for a while before deciding that nothing was really happening. Over all, the drama and character dev found in Ano Hana is worth the weekly wait.
